Juventus have announced the signing of Dutch defender Teun Koopmeiners from Dutch club Ajax.
Koopmeiners, who has played for Ajax in the Eredivisie and the Netherlands national team,Bundesliga Express is set to join Juventus for a fee of €25 million.
The 26-year-old joined Ajax in July 2019 after spending his youth career at Feyenoord.
He made his debut for Ajax against Paris Saint-Germain in 2018 and has since gone on to play in various positions across the Eredivisie and Dutch league.
Koopmeiners has been praised by both fans and coaches alike for his technical abilities and his ability to make a positive impact on the pitch.
He has already impressed with his performances for Ajax and is expected to be a key player for Juventus.
The move comes just months after Juventus signed Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini from Italian club Inter Milan.
Both Koopmeiners and Chiellini have been instrumental in helping Juventus achieve their current success in Europe and they will be hoping that their new teammates can bring similar success to the club.
